An opportunity for adults to learn the basic skills required to sail a dinghy or a larger keelboat & covering the requirements for the RYA Adult L1 syllabus.  Running over 4 evenings 18.30 – 22.30 Wednesday and Thursday, 2 consecutive weeks.

The executive restrictions have now changed to allow us to resume training, albeit with caution and mitigation in place to ensure the safety of our club members and instructors.

Participants will receive a DSC ‘snood’ style face covering, and we’d ask that it is worn when required on and off the water. DSC operate the ‘Hands, Space, and Face’ policy on all our training courses, and we would ask that all participants abide by these guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone.

Once again we’re still  unable to use the clubhouse and facilities for changing etc. So please come prepared to go afloat, bring suncream warm hats and also a towel to sit on on the way home in the car, a fleece would also be useful as our classroom is although covered and heated as required is outside.
