Sailability

Experience the thrill and excitement of sailing, regardless of your disability

We actively encourage people with disabilities to take up the sport. Imagine the thrill of sailing for people who can feel and hear but have no sight, or of joining in a sport where deafness doesn’t matter

Our clubhouse was designed with accessibility in mind. Come and see for yourself!

Sailability is a charitable trust set up by the RYA to provide the thrill and excitement of sailing to people with all forms of disability.

Sailing is one of the very few sports in which able-bodied sailors and disabled sailors can participate on equal terms. The DSC clubhouse has been designed with disability in mind and can fully facilitate disabled people.
