The WOW festival is an opportunity for women to try a variety of different activities on the water within a supportive environment and a chance to meet new friends whilst developing your skills. This is an open entry festival which welcomes all women who may be new to the sport or may have tried it before but would like to build some more confidence on the water. All like-minded sailors are invited to this fantastic festival to gain more boating skills and to share your stories with others. It is not required that you have completed a WOW programme previously but are interested in learning more about boating/watersports.
Activities scheduled include;
– Dinghy sailing
– Keelboat sailing
– Powerboating
– Stand Up Paddleboarding
- Coastal Rowing
– Snorkelling (Optional extra)
No experience needed, it is a day for learning and socialising. This will be an adult event. Equipment and sailing gear will be provided, more details will be sent to participants when the tickets close for the event.
Once all the fun boating activities have finished there will be an opportunity to socialise over dinner at the sailing club and meet new people at the festival. Live entertainment afterwards in the members lounge.
Price includes activities, goodies, lunch, dinner and most importantly a chance to catch up with others.

Please book your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment, tickets will close on the Tuesday 9th of May, to enable the sailing club, event organisers and volunteers to prepare for the event.

- All activities will run within the clubs safety operating procedures and guidance.
- Additional registration and preparation may be necessary and will be detailed in advance.
- Should there be a case of bad weather, alternative activities will be arranged for the day.
