Notice to DSC Members regarding Covid -19! Folks in response to recent events about the coronavirus the GC would like to reassure our members that we are taking our responsibility seriously and would ask for your ongoing support to enable us to keep the club open in terms of sailing and members lounge for as long as permitted.

Following the most recent RYA and Public Heath Authority guidance we have increased our cleaning schedule and are focusing on door handles, door push plates, hand rails, taps, and communal tables / bar surfaces etc. Information notices have been placed at prominent positions informing people of the ‘guidance’.

We would politely request that all members thoroughly wash their hands, we’ll be placing hand sanitisers in the club, please use these on arrival and throughout your visit. Also in line with Government guidance please only visit the club if you are well and showing no symptoms such as new or sustained cough, fever or shortness of breath, or having travelled from any of the prescribed areas as defined by the Public Health Authority.

We will continue to monitor the situation and amend the above, revising our sailing operations & events, and training courses over the coming days and weeks as things develop and or become more structured.
