Summers almost here, there’s a welcome stretch in the evenings, so that means just one thing, Friday night’s RYA OnBoard / Bright Night Sailing is just round the corner!

Do you want to helm at BNS / RYA Onboard in 2023?

Then this  is an opportunity to get some practice, refresh your memory, and build your confidence ready to get out on the water for the new sailing season, and  be ready to be a helm on the RYA OnBoard ‘Bright Nights’ Sailing’ this year – starting 1st week of June, that’s next week would you beleive!

Course will run for the one morning, drop off at 09.30am,  pick up again at 1.30pm  unless the weather prevents us from getting out on the water. You should attend 1, but could do both if required!

This helms course is aimed at those young people that already have at least an RYA Junior Stage 3& 4 qualification already.

Participants must be DSC members or have just joined as Bright Nights Scheme to be considered for this course.

This is a ‘Free’ event, and is compulsory for the BNS / RYA OnBoard young people if they wish to be considered as helms on a Friday night!

We may be able to offer a course early next week during an evening – but not at this stage!
