Well done to the DSC Juniors that attended the RYA NI Youth Championships at SLYC last weekend – 17 of our young people represented the club and their respective schools!

167 young people in total on the water at the weekend split over 3 racecourses and different fleets – Regatta Fleet, Topper 4.2 and Full Rig 5.3’s, and the older juniors / youth classes with Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, 470 Double handler’s, and the racy 29ers!

The Club had 2 ribs at the events supporting the young people and providing Safety cover for the event – almost 30 ribs were there from sailing / yacht clubs all over the country supporting their young people and SLYC.

Some impressive results – a second place in the 4.7 Radials and a couple or three top 10 places!
