Last opportunity of the 2021 season for our RYA Youth L1 & 2 full training courses. The course will operate slightly differently than previous years to comply fully with current Covid19 restrictions.

This is a Saturday all day course, running for 3-4 weeks, and will obliviously be very much weather dependant at this time of the season, some rescheduling may be required. 

The executive restrictions have now changed to allow us to resume training, albeit with caution and mitigation in place to ensure the safety of our club members and instructors.

Participants will receive a DSC ‘snood’ style face covering, and we’d ask that it is worn when required on and off the water. DSC operate the ‘Hands, Space, and Face’ policy on all our training courses, and we would ask that all participants abide by these guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone.

Please come prepared to go afloat, bring warm hats and also a towel, and a change of clothes for the way home in the car, a fleece would also be useful as our classroom is although covered and heated as required is outside.

Packed lunch with a flask, requiring hot water or something to heat in the microwave is required please.

Changing and shower facilities will be available for a limited time in the afternoon after sailing, but please arrive ready to go afloat in the mornings. Wetsuits will be available, but must be taken home and rised / dried at the end of the day and returned at the end of the week for sanitation.
