Our Junior Regatta is Back!

Saturday 9th August 2025, a day full of fun for all! ⛵🏴‍☠💦

The day will start with our Junior Race being held at 10am, please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to rig your boat etc.
The boat park and clubhouse will be open from 9am.
(SI will be sent to all those booked and who qualify to race prior to the event.)
Please note the Junior race is only for our Junior sailors who have completed and passed their RYA level 4

A Junior Regatta lunch has kindly been sponsored by Pier 36. Many thanks from DSC to Pier 36 and Sarah Cochrane for supporting our Junior sailors.

In the afternoon we will have lots of fun activities for ALL our Junior BNS and Junior members, age 8 yrs plus!! This year we are going pirate themed….plain white tee shirts can be decorated to go over wet suits/buoyancy aids. Please don’t go overboard buying too much!

•Registration for the afternoon’s activities will be at 1pm in the training room.

•Please come dressed to get wet but don’t forget our pirate theme!

•Bring a dry change of clothes for our land based activities, dinner and prize giving.

•Bar will be opened from 1pm onwards

•Tuck shop will open at 3pm

•Food will be served from hatch at 4pm for those who juniors who have booked a ticket for the days events.

•visitors can purchase food once children have been served.

Tickets are £6.50 per child and bookings will be via DSC website.

A donation will be made from cost to RLNI 🛟

Option 1 – Junior Race, lunch, activities in afternoon and dinner.

Option 2- Afternoon activities and dinner.

Please note you must book a ticket to participate. We will not be able to accept anyone who has not made prior booking.

•1.15 – 4.15pm – Water and Land activities ⛵🫟

•4.30pm – Dinner & Prize-giving 🌭🏆
