**** Donaghadee Sailing Club’s brand new Youth SUMMER CAMP & Introduction to Watersports Week ****

A week packed full of water-based fun is planned for anyone aged 8-16 years!  Not just sailing! Activities may include:

• power boating,
• sailing,
• stand up paddle boarding (SUP),
• Canadian canoeing, and
• snorkelling!

Prices:  MEMBERS price £200 (180*),   NON-member price £225 (210*)     (*indicates sibling discount prices for any additional siblings)

Please come prepared to go afloat, bring sun cream, warm hat, a towel, and a change of clothes for the way home in the car. A fleece would also be useful, as although our classroom is heated, it can be cool when coming off the water, often we’ll use the outside space. Changing and shower facilities will be available. Wetsuits & buoyancy aids will be available, they must be rinsed at the end of each day. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch. First Aid / Emergency Medical Treatment:
By booking this course, you are hereby giving permission for DSC staff who are trained in first aid to administer basic first aid treatment to your child, for minor injuries sustained during club hours / activities.
In the event of a more serious injury or medical emergency, you understand that every effort will be made to contact you or your designated emergency contact immediately. If you cannot be reached, you hereby authorize the club to take whatever emergency medical measures are deemed necessary by attending emergency services or medical personnel, including the transport of your child to the nearest hospital or medical facility.
You agree to meet any financial costs or expenses incurred for such emergency medical treatment and transport.
If you do not want your child to receive such first aid and/or emergency medical treatment, please advise of this by adding this instruction under ‘Medical Information’ section at time of booking.
