Charlotte Eadie

Having started her sailing at DSC, Charlotte Eadie is a performance sailor currently campaigning in the 49erFX class with the long-term goal of representing Ireland at the Olympic Games.

She began sailing at age nine at Donaghadee Sailing Club before progressing through the ILCA 6 at Ballyholme Yacht Club and being selected for the Irish Sailing ILCA 6 Performance Academy in 2022.

Charlotte moved into the 49erFX in 2023 and thrives on the speed, teamwork and technical demands of high-performance double-handed sailing. Alongside her own campaign, she has extensive coaching experience across junior and youth programmes, supporting sailors from grassroots through to performance pathway level with a strong focus on skill development and race confidence.
