DESCRIPTION:WOW-WE 2025\n\n\n\nAre you a woman looking to get into sailing 
 or already taking part?\n\n\n\nFancy getting on the water in a fun\, frien
 dly and safe environment with likeminded women?\n\n\n\nDonaghadee Sailing 
 Club’s Women on Water on Wednesday Evenings (WOW-WE) encourages ladies t
 o enjoy water related activities safely. There is more than just sailing o
 n offer! Sailing dinghies and ribs will be available every session. We can
  arrange paddleboarding sessions or a snorkelling session on request. Ther
 e may also be an opportunity to experience keelboat sailing. Wetsuits and 
 buoyancy aids can be provided.\n\n\n\nWe are a mixed ability group\, from 
 total beginner to round the world sailors. Our common aim is to encourage\
 , support and help each other on the water\, whilst also having a giggle a
 nd gossip.\n\n\n\nWOW-WE activities take place on Wednesday evenings at 19
 :00. For 2025 we will be running two blocks of three weeks introductory se
 ssions\, weather permitting*.  The cost for Non Members of DSC is £40\, 
 this can be deducted from a membership application if you would like to co
 ntinue sailing after the three weeks!\nWOW-We Launch – April 30 20:00 
 – anyone is welcome to come along and find out what its all about – jo

  If the weather prohibits sailing on an evening we have a range of shore-b
 ased activities to improve your nautical skills and\, if our volunteers ar
 e available\, may also be able to continue sailing for one further week.\n
 Although all Donaghadee SC members can take part in the sessions free of c
 harge – social members would be required to upgrade to a sailing member 
 after their free sessions if they wished to continue on the water on a reg
 ular basis.\nTo book your place please fill in your details below (all fie
 lds are mandatory and all data in handled in compliance with the DSC GDPR 
 policy).\nJoining Instructions:\n\nOn the water for 7.30pm so arrive early
  perhaps an hour before your 1st session ~ 6 30pm to allow time to get rea
 dy\, try on equipment etc\, and half an hour thereafter.\nUsually on water
  for an hour\, or more if the weather is nice and the gossip good.\nJoin u
 s for a cold beverage or a cup of tea in the clubhouse bar after a warm sh
 ower.\nSwapping sailing boat type during sessions - we can be flexible\, i
 f it really doesn't suit.\nAnyone needing wet gear\, should request what t
 hey need when booking\, ie wetsuit (don't worry we'll all be wearing them 
 on a dinghy\, but not needed on the bigger boats).\n\nThanks\, The DSC WOW
