DESCRIPTION:The first opportunity of the 2022 season for our RYA Youth  St
 art Racing followed by Intermediate / Club Racing as a full training cours
 es. Open to DSC members and the general public for young people aged 8 - 1
 8 years of age.\n\nHopefully back to some normality this year\,  as no re
 strictions are currently in place\, however we'll observe and implement be
 st practise &amp\; procedures at DSC during our courses.\n\nThis is the pa
 rt of the RYA Youth National sailing scheme - Having learnt to sail you ma
 y wish to start racing and join a club. This course takes you through the 
 fundamentals of getting off the start line and round the course\, introduc
 ing the basic skills needed to enter your first race or have fun with frie

 Please come prepared to go afloat\, bring sun cream warm hats and also a t
 owel\, and a change of clothes for the way home in the car\, a fleece woul
 d also be useful as our classroom is although covered and heated as requir
 ed is outside.\n\nChanging and shower facilities will be available\, but p
 lease arrive ready to go afloat in the mornings. Wetsuits will be availabl
 e\, but must be taken home and rinsed / dried at the end of the day and re
 turned at the end of the week for sanitation.\n\nThis is a 4 day course.\n
