Open to DSC junior members and or any young people aged 8 - 17 years of age.\nThis is the part of the RYA Youth National sailing sche me - An introduction to the parts of the boat and the basic principles of how to get a boat sailing.\n\nOptimise your time &\; the young people ’s time on the water by combining both the RYA Youth Stage 1 &\; Stag e 2 courses into a single week’s\, 5  full days course @ DSC! Obviously there may be further practise required to achieve the standard required t o be awarded both stages of the qualification!\n\nPlease come prepared to go afloat each day to minimise time lost getting changed\, bring sun cream warm hats and also a towel\, and a change of clothes for the way home in the car\, a fleece would also be useful as although our classroom is heate d\, it can be cool when coming off the water\, often we'll use the outside space.\n\nChanging and shower facilities will be available\, but please a rrive ready to go afloat in the mornings.
