Open to DSC junior m embers and or any young people aged 8 - 17 years of age.\n\nThis is the pa rt of the RYA Youth National sailing scheme - An introduction to the parts of the boat and the basic principles of how to get a boat sailing.\n\nOpt imise your time &\; the young people’s time on the water by combining both the RYA Youth Stage 3 &\; Stage 4 courses into a single week’s\ , 5  full days course @ DSC! Obviously there may be further practise requ ired to achieve the standard required to be awarded both stages of the qua lification!\n\nPlease come prepared to go afloat\, bring sun cream warm ha ts and also a towel\, and a change of clothes for the way home in the car\ , a fleece would also be useful as our classroom is heated it can be cool once off the water\, and often we will use the outside space.\n\nChanging and shower facilities will be available\, but please arrive ready to go af loat in the mornings. Wetsuits will be available\, but must be taken home and rinsed / dried at the end of the day and returned at the end of the we ek for sanitation.\n\nParticipants must already have their RYA Youth Stage 1&\;2 to join this course!\n\nPlease be aware that cancellations and a mendments to bookings will be subject to a £20 administration fee\, cance llations will not be refunded until the place has been rebooked by another participant – unless in exceptional circumstances. Apologies for enforc ing this rule\, but to facilitate the course\, DSC has to employ staff and purchase documentation in advance\, and overheads are obviously involved.
