SUMMARY:RYA Youth Level 4 & Start Racing 2023 season #1
DESCRIPTION:The first opportunity of the 2023 season for our RYA Youth L4 &
 amp\; Start Racing full training courses. Open to DSC members and or any y
 oung people aged 8 - 18 years of age.\n\nHopefully back to some normality 
 this year\, however we'll observe and implement best practise &amp\; proce
 dures at DSC during our courses.\n\nThis is the part of the RYA Youth Nati
 onal sailing scheme - Having learnt to sail you may wish to start racing a
 nd join a club. This course takes you through the fundamentals of getting 
 off the start line and round the course\, introducing the basic skills nee
 ded to enter your first race or have fun with friends.\n\nIf you weren't a
 ble to achieve both RYA Youth Stage 3 &amp\; 4 last season then this if po
 ssibly for you?\n\nOptimise your time &amp\; the young people’s time on 
 the water by combining both the RYA Youth Stage 4 &amp\; Start Racing cour
 ses into a single week’s\, 4 full days course @ DSC! Obviously there may
  be further practise required to achieve the standard required to be award
 ed both stages of the qualification!\n\nPlease come prepared to go afloat\
 , bring sun cream warm hats and also a towel\, and a change of clothes for
  the way home in the car\, a fleece would also be useful as although our c
 lassroom is  heated it can be cool when coming off the water\, and we oft
 en use the outside space.\n\nChanging and shower facilities will be availa
 ble\, but please arrive ready to go afloat in the mornings. Wetsuits will 
 be available\, but must be taken home and rinsed / dried at the end of the
  day and returned at the end of the week for sanitation.\n\nParticipants m
 ust already have their RYA Youth Stage 1\,2\, &amp\; 3 to join this course
 !\n\nThis is a 4 day course.\n\n&nbsp\;
