SUMMARY:RYA Youth L4 & Start Racing 2024 season #1
DESCRIPTION:The first and only opportunity of the 2024 season for our L4 re
 fresher / finish your level 4 and do some of the start racing courses. Bui
 ld on the expertise you've already achieved over the summer season and get
  ready to participate  in club and or regional racing events. Open to DSC
  members and or any young people aged 8 - 17 years of age.\n\nThis is the 
 part of the RYA Youth National sailing scheme - Having learnt to sail you 
 may wish to start racing and join a club. This course takes you through th
 e fundamentals of getting off the start line and round the course\, introd
 ucing the basic skills needed to enter your first race or have fun with fr

 \n\nPlease come prepared to go afloat\, bring sun cream warm hats and also
  a towel\, and a change of clothes for the way home in the car\, a fleece 
 would also be useful as although our classroom is  heated  it can be coo
 l when coming off the water and we often use the outside space.\n\nChangin
 g and shower facilities will be available\, but please arrive ready to go 
 afloat in the mornings. Wetsuits will be available\, but must be taken hom
 e and rinsed / dried at the end of the day and returned at the end of the 
 week for sanitation.\n\nThis is a 4 day course.\n\nParticipants must alrea
 dy have their RYA Youth Stage 1\,2\,3 &amp\; have or have most of your Lev
 el 4 completed to join this course!\n\n&nbsp\;
