Open to DSC members and or any young people aged 8 - 18 years of age.\n\nHopefully back to some normality this year\,   however we'll observe and implement best practise &\; procedures at DSC during our courses.\n\nThis is the part of the RYA Youth National sail ing scheme - An introduction to the parts of the boat and the basic princi ples of how to get a boat sailing.\n\nOptimise your time &\; the young people’s time on the water by combining both the RYA Youth Stage 3 &\ ; Stage 4 courses into a single week’s\, 5  full days course @ DSC! Obv iously there may be further practise required to achieve the standard requ ired to be awarded both stages of the qualification!\n\nPlease come prepar ed to go afloat\, bring sun cream warm hats and also a towel\, and a chang e of clothes for the way home in the car\, a fleece would also be useful a s our classroom is heated it can be cool once off the water\, and often we will use the outside space.\n\nChanging and shower facilities will be ava ilable\, but please arrive ready to go afloat in the mornings. Wetsuits wi ll be available\, but must be taken home and rinsed / dried at the end of the day and returned at the end of the week for sanitation.\n\nParticipant s must already have their RYA Youth Stage 1&\;2 to join this course!
