SUMMARY:RYA Youth L1 & 2 2023 season #3
DESCRIPTION:Another opportunity as part of the 2023 season for our RYA Yout
 h L1 &amp\; 2 full training courses. Open to DSC members and or any young 
 people aged 8 - 18 years of age.\n\nHopefully back to some normality this 
 year\, however we'll observe and implement best practise &amp\; procedures
  at DSC during our courses.\n\nThis is the part of the RYA Youth National 
 sailing scheme - An introduction to the parts of the boat and the basic pr
 inciples of how to get a boat sailing.\n\nOptimise your time &amp\; the yo
 ung people’s time on the water by combining both the RYA Youth Stage 1 &
 amp\; Stage 2 courses into a single week’s\, 5  full days course @ DSC!
  Obviously there may be further practise required to achieve the standard 
 required to be awarded both stages of the qualification!\n\nPlease come pr
 epared to go afloat\, bring sun cream warm hats and also a towel\, and a c
 hange of clothes for the way home in the car\, a fleece would also be usef
 ul as although our classroom is heated it can be cool when coming off the 
 water\, often we'll use the outside space.\n\nChanging and shower faciliti
 es will be available\, but please arrive ready to go afloat in the morning
 s. Wetsuits will be available\, but must be taken home and rinsed / dried 
 at the end of the day and returned at the end of the week for sanitation.\
