SUMMARY:RYA Youth L1 & 2 2023 season #1
DESCRIPTION:The first opportunity of the 2023 season for our RYA Youth L1 &
 amp\; 2 full training courses. Open to DSC members and or any young people
  aged 8 - 18 years of age.\n\nHopefully back to some normality again this 
 year\,  however we'll observe and implement best practise &amp\; procedur
 es at DSC during our courses.\n\nThis course is the part of the RYA Youth 
 National sailing scheme - An introduction to the parts of the boat and the
  basic principles of how to get a boat sailing.\n\nOptimise your time &amp
 \; the young people's time on the water by combining both the RYA Youth St
 age 1 &amp\; Stage 2 courses into a single week's\, 5  full days course @
  DSC! Obviously there may be further practise required to achieve the stan
 dard required to be awarded both stages of the qualification!\n\nPlease co
 me prepared to go afloat\, bring sun cream warm hats and also a towel\, an
 d a change of clothes for the way home in the car\, a fleece would also be
  useful as our classroom is heated it can be cool after coming off the wat
 er\, or often we used the outside space.\n\nChanging and shower facilities
  will be available\, but please arrive ready to go afloat in the mornings.
  Wetsuits will be available\, but must be taken home and rinsed / dried at
  the end of the day and returned at the end of the week for sanitation.\n\
