SUMMARY:RYA Powerboat L2 Course 2025 #2
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to learn the basic skills required to operate a
   powerboat both safely and competently. A mostly hands on practical cour
 se at the helm of one of our RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boat) or Rigiflex boat
 s with some land based instruction &amp\; theory\, under the guidance and 
 instruction of one of our accredited RYA power boat instructors. Successfu
 l students will be awarded their L2 Powerboat certificate at the end of th
 e course.  A minimum qualification to be permitted to helm any of the DSC
  powerboats.\nFurther info here: Powerboating Brochure\nPlease come prepar
 ed to go afloat\, cater for all eventualities that Northern Ireland can of
 fer in a single day so\, bring sun cream\, warm hats\, warm waterproof clo
 thing\, a fleece\, suitable footwear that you don't mind getting wet\,  a
 nd a change of clothing to go home in\, just in case. We can provide buoya
 ncy aids etc. but if you have your own gear please bring it.\n\nYou will a
 lso need to bring a passport sized photo of yourself for the certificate w
 hen you attend the course.\n\nThis is a 2 consecutive day course\, is fair
 ly intensive\, and requires no previous experience\, or equipment. Please
