DESCRIPTION:All safety boat helms / crew / instructors - is your first aid 
 certificate up to date (have you completed an approved course including dr
 owning and cold water shock in the past three years) ? If not you'll not b
 e permitted behind the wheel of DSC powerboat this year! \n\nTo ensure you
 r able to participate we've arranged an RYA first aid course at the end of
  March . . Cost £40. Includes expert tuition and an RYA first aid book\, 
 certificate etc. We'll even supply the tea\, coffee and biscuits\, but bri
 ng or organize your own lunch please.\n\nCourse open to any DSC member\, a
 dult or 15 year old + Juniors that require the qualification for instructi
 ng and or powerboat helm !\n\nA classroom based but very interactive hands
  on &amp\; practical course\, rather than death by PowerPoint - there's ob
 viously an agenda to cover so some PowerPoint content.\n\n1 full day.\n\nL
 imited numbers.\n\nUsual Covid-19 rules apply please\, don't attend if you
  or any member of your household feels unwell.  It is no longer a require
 ment to provide evidence of COVID passport\,  however we'd still like all
  members to be respectful of the wishes of others and wear a face covering
  as required or requested. Dress appropriately as the room may be well ven
 tilated - reviewed as regulations constantly change.
