 ing yacht!
DESCRIPTION:Another outdoor fun opportunity for the end of the 2023 sailing
  season\, sailing on a yacht up Belfast lough\, past the infamous Titanic 
 slipway\, to the marina at Abercorn Basin!\n\nMaybe you've never been on a
  yacht?  Now's your chance to try it out with a sail up Belfast lough on 
 Saturday 7th October. We'll have limited parent places too\, so whether yo
 ur a 'WOW Lady' or a 'Dad for Sail' perhaps come along with your child for
  the day out - the train is right beside the marina for a return journey b
 ack to Bangor.\n\nThe young Sailor's will need to be dropped off at Bangor
  Marina by 11  (at the reception) - where a DSC member will meet you\, do
  a safety briefing and escort you to your assigned yacht\, and collected a
 gain at Belfast Harbour Marina - beside the SSE arena in Belfast at approx
 imately 6pm. Parent's will be welcome to come aboard at either Bangor or B
 elfast for a visit.\n\nCome prepared for an outdoor activity\, wrap up wel
 l\, hat &amp\; gloves\, bring a waterproof coat and trousers\, your buoyan
 cy aid if you have one\, and importantly a pair of non marking / white sol
 ed trainers or shoes - no need for wetsuits and the rest of your wet gear 
 - you'll not be in the water - but it's going to be mid autumn by then\, a
 nd it can be cold out on the sea!\n\nYou'll need a packed lunch too\, what
 ever you like to eat.  We'll probably have a supply of hot chocolate and 
 'cup a soups'!\n\nThis event is only possible by the generosity of our mem
 bers who have kindly offered to accommodate the young sailors of DSC on th
 eir own vessels.  All boats will be crewed and skippered by suitably qual
 ified and experienced people\, we'd kindly ask that the young people are w
 ell behaved and respectful.\n\nThere is no cost\, it's free so come along 
 and enjoy! Feel free to bring some treats for sharing amongst the rest of 
 the crew on the trip!\n\nUnfortunately we've limited space so strictly 1st
  come 1st serve basis. If the winter weather is kind we may even get anoth
