DESCRIPTION:This is booking the trip to Belfast by yacht only - please book the tickets for access to the SSE Friendship four hockey separately!! Ski ppers and prearranged crew do not need to book!\nAn outdoor fun opportunit y for the end of the 2024 sailing season\, sailing on a yacht up Belfast l ough\, past the infamous Titanic slipway\, to the marina at Abercorn Basin !\nMaybe you've never been on a yacht?  Now's your chance to try it out w ith a sail up Belfast lough on Saturday 30th November. We have a few paren t places too\, so whether your a 'WOW Lady' or a 'Dad for Sail' perhaps co me along with your child for the day out - the train is right beside the m arina for a return journey back to Bangor.\n\nThe young Sailor's will need to be dropped off at Bangor Marina by 10am  (at the reception) - where a DSC member will meet you\, do a safety briefing and escort you to your as signed yacht\, and collected again at Belfast Harbour Marina - beside / be hind the SSE arena in Belfast at approximately 1pm. Parent's will be welco me to come aboard at either Bangor or Belfast for a visit.\n\nCome prepare d for an outdoor activity\, wrap up well\, hat &\; gloves\, bring a wat erproof coat and trousers\, your buoyancy aid if you have one\, and import antly a pair of non marking / white soled trainers or shoes - no need for wetsuits and the rest of your wet gear - you'll not be in the water - but it's going to be mid autumn by then\, and it can be cold out on the sea!\n \nYou'll need a packed lunch too\, whatever you like to eat.  We'll proba bly have a supply of hot chocolate and 'cup a soups'!\n\nThis event is onl y possible by the generosity of our members who have kindly offered to acc ommodate the young sailors of DSC on their own vessels.  All boats will b e crewed and skippered by suitably qualified and experienced people\, we'd kindly ask that the young people are well behaved and respectful.\n\nTher e is no cost\, it's free so come along and enjoy! Feel free to bring some treats for sharing amongst the rest of the crew on the trip!\n\nUnfortunat ely we've limited space so strictly 1st come 1st serve basis.
