Donaghadee Sailing Club welcomes you to its new training facility situated in the historic town of Donaghadee in County Down, overlooking the harbour, the Irish Sea and the coast of Scotland. We are a progressive club with a large junior membership and have recently been awarded the Clubmark NI accreditation, giving parents the reassurance of quality coaching, safe environment, effective club management
The Club is an RYA Training Centre offering dinghy sailing and power boat training for all age groups, all delivered by our team of RYA trained instructors.
As a Volvo Champion Club, we offer pathway training for juniors. The programme offers safe, effective racing and race training in the RYA recognised classes these are the Topper, Mirror, Laser 4.7, RS Feva.
Whatever you’re level of ability we have a course suitable for you. If you would like to try a new sport, improve your existing skills or join our racing program, we can help you. So if you would like a “come and try” session, or looking for personal tuition, a 1 day, 2 day or week long courses, we have something for everyone
