Donaghadee Sailing Club brings fun sailing opportunities for all ages in a safe, family friendly environment. Situated on Donaghadee’s famous seafront with views of the iconic lighthouse and the Copeland Islands, our beautiful Clubhouse is the base for all of our sailing, racing, training diving and social activities

As an RYA Training Centre, we offer a wide range of training courses in sailing and powerboating for juniors and adults, catering for all levels of experience. All training activities can be viewed under the training heading on this page.

The Club is delighted to announce the integration of a dive group into the Club. The Duck Down Divers are registered with BSAC and have all the equipment needed, including air compressor and oxygen for NITROX blending. A recent addition of a new rib enables larger groups to dive in off shore locations.

Club racing on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons throughout the summer. Sunday afternoon racing continues throughout the year for the more adventurous helms and crew. During the summer, our extremely popular Friday Bright Nights for Juniors allow young people to get onto the water to enjoy sailing for the first time with an experienced helm. Ladies are catered for in our popular WOW women on water programme.

We have an open-door membership policy where everyone is welcome. As a Club we place a strong emphasis on families, with a wide range of social events offered during the year for all age groups. Club membership is growing from strength to strength so, come down and see for yourself what Donaghadee Sailing Club has to offer.
