Go Team DSC!

Well done to all our juniors that were off representing DSC this weekend past at both the Laser Irish National’s at Ballyholme YC and the ITCA Topper ‘Northern’s’ at Killyleagh YC!

Lucas, Kaitlyn, and Abbie sailed very well in the 4.7, and Laser Radial Fleets, with commendable results against their peers, racing for almost 4 days in a row, Thursday – Sunday, abeit the lack of wwind was an issue on Sunday, otherwise in some quite challenging conditions at the start of the week!

Isobel, Charlotte, Holy, Zara, Emily, Daniel, and Charlie all competed in the 4.2 and 5.3 full rig series in the beautiful surroundings of Strangford Lough over the Saturday and Sunday completing 5 full races! Plenty of wind on the Saturday morning got them off to an exhilarating start, it mellowed during the day, and again no wind was a problem on the Sunday until noon when it filled in nicely for the afternoon.  

Well done to Daniel for winning the 4.2 class!
